Monday July 12, 2010; We lost a dear sweet friend as well as fellow car member. Donald (HOT ROD) Ashby. He lost his fight to cancer. He will be terribly missed. HOT ROD was one of our first members and was always happy to participate with our events. Last year we all went to Pigeon Forge for the annual "Shades of the Past" car show. We all had a great time and had already made plans for this years trip. Hot Rod will be so very missed. He loved old cars as much as trucks (which was his life).
On a very personal note let me say again how very much we will miss our great friend although we are Thankful that he will not be suffering anymore. We will always remember our great times with him and will miss his wonderful laughter.
"WE LOVE AND MISS YOU HOTROD!!"
The Back To OUR Future Car Show has been CANCELLED!!! Due to LACK of Interest and LACK of SPONSORS from our Lynn Community.

We will however be taking up a collection on Saturday July 3rd at the C.A.R.S. cruise In, in Jasper. This was an important event with proceeds going to Mr. Charles Gilpin, who recently was involved in a severe motorcycle accident. He is currently recovering at the Golden Living Center in Winfield Alabama. Please try and support this cause. For more info contact Shelly Sealy at 205-275-7967.
